Rare Vintage 60s John Cavanagh Black Sequin Maxi Dress - Collectible Designer Gown, Size Small
Beautiful rare and authentic vintage late 1960s maxi dress by designer John Cavanagh. A stunning piece from his ready-to-wear collection, sold from his boutique in Curzon Street circa 1960s. Featuring a fully lined black sequin design, it has long sleeves accented with white satin cuffs. The dress includes a discreet back zipper concealed within the seam for a sleek silhouette. Despite its sequin detail, the dress remains very lightweight and comfortable to wear, due to the high-quality craftsmanship. Some sequins are missing, most noticeable are a few missing on the front (see photos for details). Additionally, there is some staining on the satin cuffs (as shown in photos), but the dress is still in good, wearable condition. This rare piece would be a lovely addition for any vintage clothing collector or anyone looking to add a unique elegant piece to their wardrobe.
